The New American reports that the wealthy are escaping the increasing tyranny of the United States for lands where the government is not coming after them like a butcher after a fattened hog.
Many people who looked to America as the protector now see America is bent on coming after them. We’re getting a whole new class of client who is someone who says, “I want to go into the [IRS] disclosure program and as soon as I complete it, expatriate.”
The number disgusted with how America treats its successful citizens continues to grow. As Bugnion of ACA notes, “It is a sad outcome, but I personally feel that we are now seeing only the tip of the iceberg.”
Regardless of how much you might despise, or be jealous of, the rich, they’ll be taking more jobs and investment dollars (which translates to even more jobs) with them. Also, US entrepreneurs are more often launching their companies as foreign ventures too (or moving their ventures overseas), creating jobs overseas over there instead of here. Can you blame them? Most of America has been voting for the measures that are chasing them away. If you are one of them, you deserve the economic hell you helped create. The minority of us who vote in an economically-libertarian fashion do not.
The more brilliant approach is not to pillage the rich, but help out the poor and middle class by simply getting the government out of the way – by reducing regulation, on business and our lives, leading to unprecedented opportunity for wealth for all. Excessive regulation has the effect of keeping the poor poor and making the rich richer, but poor liberals are eternally tricked into voting for more! What a scam! The rich can better survive excessive regulations, with armies of lawyers, tax strategists, consultants, whereas the poor cannot.
Donald Trump lashed out in a video against Jon Stewart after Stewart made comments about Herman Cain that Donald Trump felt was racist. Jon Stewart said everything about Herman Cain’s past “sounds dirty”.
Whether or not Jon Stewart’s rant was racist, liberals and liberal comedians are known for having double standards. The liberal elite imply that blacks can only think and vote a certain way, that they can’t think for themselves and imply that all blacks are “ghetto” and give up on achieving anything in life. Why do liberals give each other a free pass, but if a conservative so much as mentions or implies “black” or “jew” in a sentence, then that conservative is certainly racist, especially if they are white!
I certainly share the view of Condoleezza Rice. She said, in an interview with Sean Hannity, “I would say to people who think that blacks have to think a particular way, you’re the one who is actually prejudiced”.

That’s right! Only eight percent—the least, by far, of the last 19 presidents! And these people are trying to tell our big corporations how to run their business? They know what’s best for GM, Chrysler, Wall Street, and you and me?
How can the president of a major nation and society, the one with the most successful economic system in world history, stand and talk about business when he’s never worked for one? Or about jobs when he has never really had one? And when it’s the same for 92% of his senior staff and closest advisers? They’ve spent most of their time in academia, government and/or non-profit jobs or as “community organizers”. They should have been in an employment line.This should give everyone pause.

In my opinion, nobody should get any government job unless they’ve worked for a real business for a minimum of 10 years.

This is exactly what I’ve been saying. This is not conspiracy talk. Just like anyone can be effectively enslaved to a lender in their life, a nation can be enslaved to another by a similar mechanism. Now, we try to bully China around (on human rights abuses, etc.). Some ugly day soon, they may have turned the tables, as we made ourselves much weaker than them and owe them a debt we can never repay. Do you liberals out there really think they will adhere to your iberal agenda then? No, they will enslave and farm us out for maximum productivity – that means no pollution controls and the cheapest energy, not the cleanest. In fact, every right that even liberals stand for will be down the drain, as China has a history of being an unkind, brutal master.
Woman to Obama: “Quite frankly, I’m exhausted. I’m exhausted of defending you, defending your administration, defending the mantle of change that I voted for, and deeply disappointed with where we are right now. I have been told that I voted for a man who said he was going to change things in a meaningful way for the middle class. I’m one of those people. And I’m waiting, sir. I’m waiting. I — I don’t feel it yet … Is this my new reality?”
The woman politely, but firmly confronts Obama on the change she expected for her vote. But why would she have expected any different from a liberal? For a CFO, she must not understand how a free economy works. No sane businessman/businesswoman is inspired to expand or hire by a liberal regime! And in case anybody doesn’t get it, business owners (large or small) being discouraged causes the economy and hiring to fail, not succeed. Is that really, really so hard for people to understand? Apparently so, for most.
